Job Description:

Customizing Shopify themes and templates.

Creating custom Shopify apps and plugins to add functionality to the website.

Integrating third-party apps and services, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools, with the Shopify platform.

Configuring and optimizing the website's performance and SEO.

Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to clients.

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development.

Collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers

Creating and maintaining technical documentation for the Shopify development process.

Developing and implementing testing plans to ensure the quality of code and features.

Continuously improving the performance, security, and scalability of Shopify websites.

Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of coding standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development, with a portfolio of successful Shopify projects.

Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Experience with Shopify's Liquid templating language and the Shopify App CLI.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO optimization for e-commerce websites.

Understanding of web accessibility standards and experience with making websites accessible.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Asana.

Experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub
